Soccer match in Egypt turned deadly ..it ended with 74 death and
thousands injured.
It was no fun, no entertainment, no sportsmanship...it was ugly, it
way deadly.

At the final whistle, tens of thousand of fan charge onto the fields,
with stones, weapons attacking the players, the officials, and the
fans. Other fans ran for their lives...but there was no way out...the
gate were locked. An orgy of killings took place under the watchful
eyes of the police, who stood by and did nothing to stop the killing.

The police was at a loss what to do...if they tried to stop the mob,
they are outnumbered...they will become the targets of the mob
attacks ... If they used their guns to protect themselves...to stop
the mad mob...chances are they will kill the attackers. If they killed
one of them, they would be blamed for using deadly force against
innocent fans.

(Just like in Sichuan recently, a mob of a few hundreds rioters with
deadly weapons attacked a police stations...the police was forced to
open fire to protect themselves after about twenty police men were
injured. The police was condemned by western media for killing two of
the rioters)

Will the same tragedy happen again at the next soccer match ?
Will the police or troops be able to protect the innocent fans and
players against the mad mobs...against revenge killings ?

Soccer games are deadly nowadays. If I am an Egyptian soccer fan...I
will stay at home.
